Raffle Contests

This season, I have joined a few raffle contests. Well, it seems to be the fad every Christmas season. One of the raffle contest I have joined has a trip to Bohol ticket. When I heard my friends talk about the tourists spots in Bohol, I want to instantly visit the place with my family. But if I am not lucky enough to win a trip to Bohol, I can content myself with an entertainment showcase. A led hdtv would really bring a smile to my face.

The Spirit of Christmas

On the night of December 24, my family and I attended the mass. One of my favorite part was when the priest delivered the homily and talked about the real meaning of Christmas. He noticed that some people no longer want to celebrate Christmas for the reason that they lack material things. When people do not have the money to spend for lavish feasts and gifts, they feel frustrated and feel that their year is not a good one. The priests emphasized that whether we have the means or not, we should still celebrate Christmas to commemorate the coming of Jesus Christ our savior. It's not about the material things. We should be grateful that God sent his Only Begotten Son to save us from our sins.

Freestanding Baths

Being able to have a long relaxing bath is one way for me to rejuvenate my body and start my day right. I love to pamper myself with a nice bubble bath, complete with aromatherapy. Actually this is something that my girls got from me. However, I felt like we need a new bath tub. It's not only because I wanted something new for next year. Christmas Wish

We may not have all the material things, but I am happy and contented in my life. That's because I have a very loving family. All I can wish for right now is good health and peace of mind for myself and for my loved ones. I feel blessed that no one in my family is experiencing illness and terrible pain. But then again, it's always a good thing to be prapared for unexpected circumstances that's why I am researching about term life insurance rates. Rain Barrels

I would always complain when it rains because it makes me too lazy to go out. But then again, I should not really feel bad at all because rain helps the farmers by watering the plants in the field. When it rains, I put pails outside the house to collect rainwater. This water can be used for watering the yard or the indoor plants that we have. Instead of using small pails, I learned that I can use rain barrels. I cannotfind them at the shops nearby. Luckily, we can find almost anything online nowadays.

GMA 7 - Full House Remake

So the soap-opera that was making me emotional every night had come to an end. It was a sad ending for Stairway to Heaven but I think we were all expecting that because that's how it was in the original Korean soap opera were they based it from.

Here's another Korean remake brought to you by GMA 7. This is my favorite Korean love-comedy series. I was able to watch the original one when it was shown here in the Philippines (courtesy of GMA 7 as well). Heart Evangelista (who is playing the role of Jessie) is doing a very great job.

Hubby and I decided that by early next year, we would be buying a new car. We will sell our old vehicle and get a new one. Unfortunately, I haven't watch Michael Jackson's This Is It Movie yet. This makes me feel like I am residing in another planet. During the Christmas season, expect a lot of sumptuous meals. With everyone around you enjoying their meals, would you be able to stick to your diet this holiday season? You do not have to say no to everything offered to you. I think it's still possible to indulge without have to put on a lot of weight.

What you can do is have small serving of the meals. Stick o juice drinks instead of sodas. Choose turkey over dark meat. Actually, it's all about self-control.
