Things I'm Thankful For

Thanksgiving was recently celebrated in the United States. Although Thanksgiving is not a big deal in the Philippines, I would like to list the things I am thankful for.
- I am thankful for the love and respect of my family.
- I am thankful for the friendship of those that matters to me.
- I am thankful for the unforgettable bonding moments I have with my loved ones.
- I am thankful for the days I get to de-stress and go shopping (But I am now a cured shop-a-holic).
- I am thankful for the times I make someone happy.
- I am thankful for the time I am able to reflect and peacefully examine my life.
- Most of all, I am thankful for the blessings that God had bestowed upon me and my loved ones.

College Course Choices
She is actually talented when it comes to drawing. With her talent, I think it will be easy for her to learn cad drawings as well. My advise to her is choose a reputable school and make sure she excels in the field that she had chosen. Do whatever makes her happy. In my opinion, if we are passionate about something, it will be easier for us to excel.

Reminder: In Need of a Rocker Switch
Aside from expressing my thoughts and ideas on this blog. Another purpose of it is to serve as a memopad where I can post the things I need to remind myself or my hubby. I should remind my husband on weekend to buy rocker switches for our new computer set. We haven't set it up yet because we are too busy with some other things. Actually, it's still in the box.

2012
Anyway, I won't mention anymore spoilers. Aside from the effects and storyline, it was a good movie because it opens people's eyes to be more caring about the environment. Natural calamities has been happening and there's only mankind to blame because we abuse our resources.
After the movie, my girls spent time at the book store, while hubby and I have to look for appliances. That mall is so big that I think we might need a gps. But of course, we can always use our cellphones to let them know where we are.
I'm thankful for the wonderful weekend spent with my beloved family.

Maguindanao Massacre - A Heartbreaking News
What's more heartbreaking is that some of the victims were innocent women and civilians - innocent people! I'm pretty sure that if you follow the news, you may have read or heard the details about this gruesome incident. I am just hoping that justice will be served as soon as possible.

Bath Robes and Towel Wraps for Women
I have known about Posylane for quite a while now. It's a site that offers affordable personalized gifts for women and children. They have a lot of cute stuff which your friends and kids would surely love.
While browsing on their products, I found about the bath robes and towel wraps being sold on the site. What makes these products unique is you can have the name of the gift recipient embroidered on them. If not, you can also request for a special message embroidered on the gift item.
I will buy a terry bath robe for my sister Jovi and a bath wrap for my sister Lyn. Since the products are comfortable and durable at the same time, I will get one for myself.
I would love to have a pink waffle bath robe. There are more color options on the site. It's also available in green, black and white. I'm sure my daughters would love these robes when they see them.

Outer Banks Vacations
One of the places that I would love to visit if given a chance to tour places in the US would be Outer Banks, North Carolina. I really feel relaxed when I am at the beach, especially if we have a comfortable (and affordable!) place to stay. Being able to relax with your loved ones in a scenic view is priceless. These are the kind of memories that you will forever treasure. I hope that my dream Outer Banks vacations would come true soon.

Cubao's Giant Christmas Tree
This year, I am planning to purchase a new Christmas tree. But artificial christmas trees and the decorations are now very expensive. They say, it's better to buy them earlier (before the Christmass rush). Instead of going to large malls, you can always try Baclaran or Divisoria.
