A Mother's Prayer
A Mother's Prayer
Dear Lord, It's such a hectic day,
With little time to stop and pray,
For Life's been anything but calm,
Since You called me to be a Mom,
Running errands, matching socks,
Building dreams with matching blocks,
Cooking, cleaning, finding shoes,
And other stuff that children lose,
Fitting lids on bottled bugs,
Wiping tears and giving hugs,
A stack of last week's mail to read,
So where's the quiet time I need?
Yet, when I steal a moment, Lord,
Just at the sink or ironing board,
To ask the blessings of Your grace,
I see them, in my small one's face,
That you have blessed me
All the while --
And I stoop to kiss
That precious smile.

Kristen Stewart
Only her can pull of this attire- pairing a dress with a Converse shoes. We told one of my relatives, who has a clothing boutique, that she should have stock those kind of dress that Kristen Stewart is sporting at the MTV Movie Awards. Teens would surely dig this style. There are wholesale liquidators in our area that she could visit.

Gardening
But too much rain can drown them. I hope there would be no more heavy rains this coming week. When summer passes, what I miss the most are the blossoming flowers in my garden.

Cancer
Some people are successful in battling cancer but a lot of people also failed to do so. There are different forms of cancer such as mesothelioma but nonetheless, all of them are deadly and may affect not only the physical but also the emotional well-being of the victim as well.

Michael Jackson's Children
Unlike most children of celebrities, his children are not easily recognized. I am aware that he has kids but I do not know how they looked like until I searched for it online. (just now) This has been a question raised by many, "Now, who would take care of MJ's kids?". It has been said that the custody may be given to Michael Jackson's mother, but at her age of 78, would she be able to take care of them well? There may also be a possibility that the biological mom of the two oldest children-Debbie Rowe – will seek out custody.
I am hoping for the best interest of these 3 wonderful children: Prince Michael, Paris Michael & Prince Michael II.

Shopping
However, there are a lot of stores online. So you have to be smart enough to look for one that would give you the best deal. Of course, make sure that they are not scam sites. As a self-confessed online shopper, I am glad that I learned about ShopWiki. You can actually find anything and everything for sale on the web at ShopWiki.com. It will give you a good list of stores, whether or not they had paid for placement.
When I am online, I look for stuffs such as sunglasses, books, collectibles, electronics, clothing, health and beauty products. Well, it's really random! My daughters had always been interested with accessories. For my hubby, his favorite is anything related to automotive. Our interests maybe varied, but one thing is for sure, we love shopping! Thanks to Shopwiki for making it fun and convenient for us.

Does your Father Smoke?
While browsing online, I came across a sire that mentions about Electronic Cigarette. Well, I got curious about it because I never heard of disposable e cigarettes before. According to what I read on the site, it has 4000 less chemicals than traditional cigarettes. My dad would have preferred this one. Since, It does not have carcinogen, tar or tobacco. Since they are refillable, they are more cost-effective. Just 30 Ml of E Liquid can go a long way!

Life Insurance
Well, I understand that we do not really want to think that something unfortunate may happen to our family members. But unexpected circumstances may happen and it's better to be prepared for them financially speaking.
So why is it important to get a life insurance?
So when buying a life insurance, what are the things you need to consider?
Term life insurance. Typically, it gives you the most coverage for the least amount of money. Ask for term life insurance quotes from different insurance companies so that you can compare before deciding which one you'd go with.
If you are interested with term insurance, simply visit the site of ReliaQuote, Inc. to obtain free quotes on term life insurance from leading life insurance companies.

Desiderata
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Pet Lovers
Our dog has been with us for quite a long time. We do our best to take care of him especially when it comes to giving him the right food and proper grooming. I like buying things online not only for my husband and children but for our beloved pet as well. For pet lovers out there, you should visit tailsrwagging.com. What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?
You Are Bold and Fearless |
![]() You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. |

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
Sometimes, a lot of us can be too focused on what we want to achieve career-wise, but we lose track of the more important things in life such as our relationship with other people and doing the things we love to do.

Inexpensive Gift Ideas for Dad
Although my husband appreciates everything that we give him, he prefers inexpensive gifts from us. He would always say, "It's the thought that counts" and that we do not need to spend our money on him. So as early as now, my children and I are brainstorming for affordable yet lovely gifts. If I can afford it, I would surprise him with a Westgate vacation. He deserves a break from his work. Going back to the inexpensive surprises, my children enjoys making a card for their dad where they paste old pics that captured treasured moments with him. One of my daughters is thinking of giving him a neck tie. I warned them to choose a basic design. He does not really like those cartoon designs. Since they know that their dad loves books, one of them is thinking of giving him a book. We love and respect him a lot. I think whatever we give him, he'd surely appreciate it.

Orlando Vacations
If there's one thing I would like to happen, it is to be able to bring my children to Disneyworld located in Orlando, Florida. We have relatives that lives an hour away from that wonderful amusement park. I have been scouting for Orlando vacations for the my whole family. That would be so much fun.
It hasn't stopped raining yet. I might as well take a rest. :)

Bad Weather and Flu
Last Monday, Philippine health authorities claim that the cases of H1N1 rose to 21. To prevent this from happening to my family, I have been telling them to avoid crowded places like malls for the mean time. I also remind them to wash their hands often and bring a hand sanitizer with them.
