Predict your baby's age!
Back during those days when ultrasound was not yet created, what do the ancient Chinese use to know their baby's gender? Well, there's a Chinese Birth Calendar.
I heard about the Chinese Birth Calendar a long time ago. In my case, the predictions given was 75% correct.That may just be a coincidence because no one had really proven the accuracy of the Chinese Birth Calendar. But I want to display a copy of it here on my blog in case you are curious and interested.
How to use the chart:
In order to find the gender prediction, look for the age of mother at conception and then the month in which conception occurred. The intersection of the given row and column would tell the gender predcition.

wow! those were cool inventions:) wondered how accurate those are though...
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeful now, says my new grandbaby is a girl.
ReplyDeletewow...science has come a long way from 75% acuracy to 100. Although ultrasound seems the best to predict a baby's gender, I still can't help but be intrigued by this tiny chart.
ReplyDeletedo you ever try to use it?
ReplyDelete@Shawie,
ReplyDeleteWe can't really say how accurate it is. I, myself also don't know how the ancient Chinese came up with that but it's just a nice tool for entertainment purposes, because right now we have accurate means to know the baby's gender.
@Megryansmom,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the arrival of the new addition to your family. Whether it is a boy or a girl, a baby is always a blessing.
@Marjie, I agree, I find it intriguing too. :)
ReplyDelete@fixad, I tried to use it out of curiosity but since there's ultrasound now, I think ultrasound will give a more accurate result.
