Rekindling My Love For Reading

While flipping through the pages of the book, Cleaving, by Julie Powell, it dawned on me that I cannot even remember the last time I read a book. When I was a lot younger, I have so much passion for reading, whether it's a fiction or nonfiction. Any subject matter interests me. I only give my feedback after reading the book. That's when I can tell whether it's worth reading or not. I love to read inspirational books by Norman Vincent Peale, novels by John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon and Robert Ludlum.

It's time to rekindle my love for reading. I can start by going back to the bookstore and grab a copy of the book I just mentioned.

General Cleaning on Weekend

It's a good thing I convinced everyone in the family to stay home this weekend and help me do a general cleaning at home (that includes the yard and the garden). All the cleaning materials are ready, including the Anilox roll. Assignments has been given to each member of the family so that everything will be done faster and they can have the time to relax and enjoy my cooking later. We are about to start cleaning soon. After this everything should be spick and span.

Looking at Cory Quirino's pictures, she's one of those who managed to age gracefully. She's a known advocate of beauty and wellness in the Philippines. You might be wondering how old she is. Based on Wikipedia, she was born on August 11, 1953 making her 56 years old at the moment. I wish I would be able to take care of myself the way she has. She looks a lot younger than her age. But basically, having a proper diet, regular exercise and a happy disposition will make you look and feel beautiful. I eat the right kind of food. What I need to work on is exercising regularly. I think it would really help if we have a fitness equipment at home. Of course, the determination to be fit and healthy.
