Fear of Public Speaking

One of the most common fears is glossophobia or fear of public speaking. That's why at a young age, I encourage my kids to be confident and say what they have in mind (tactfully, of course!) so that when they grow up, they won't develop a public speaking anxiety. I encourage them to participate in school activities such as singing, declamation or anything that would make them used to performing in front of an audience.

Green Shopping

It's never too early to be teaching kids to how to care for the environment. Through my actions and constant reminders, I show them that I respect our surroundings. Throwing your snack wrappers on the street is something that shouldn't be done (even if they see others doing it.)

There's a grocery store near us that promotes green shopping. They encourage the use of tote bags, instead of plastic bags, to carry your groceries. The reusable eco-friendly tote bags is a good idea to lessen plastic wastes.
